@Junglist The versions are hardware versions so the firmware available is only for that hardware version. In your case, you can only use firmware for version 1.

@wesd The powerline will usually blink if the reset is held and it is factory defaulted. Have you tried moving the router to a different outlet?

@lptureski56 When you initially turn on the RE650 it will broadcast a wireless network with no password. It does that so when you connect to it, you can then configure it via browser or using Tether....
