If the extender 2.4G wifi is working, then it could be that the led indicator is off rail sometimes. BTW, 2.4G indicator is the one above "2.4G", not the one below. Many people get confused.

How about distance? Is the extender too far from your router? Or your devices are too far from the extender? If that's not the case, I think you can contact tplink tec team for solution.

How about tplinkrepeater.net? You should connect your phone/computer to the extender wifi, not home wifi or other network. Try different devices, reset the extender if it's not working at all. And...

Call tec again if you still not receive an email. Or you can email them and tell them what you've done, who you talked to, reference #, etc.
