Since installing a firmware upgrade in January, I've noticed that my hardwired connection to my router seems to go dead (no connection) while other ports remain working. I am using a Windows 10 computer.  I just suddenly lose connection and power-cycling the router fixes the problem. It seems this has only been happening since the installation of the latest firmware 1.1.2 Build 20210125 rel. 39623.  Any ideas?

Things I would try:

 

  • Power cycle the PC to see if that corrects the issue. May be the PC
  • Check to see if another PC has the issue if you can.
  • Switch the a different Ethernet port to see it that helps.
  • Try a different Ethernet cable as that can cause issues
  • Reset the router to factory and re-enter your settings.
  • Contact support directly
  • If you still have issues then revert back to the older firmware.
