I retired my netgear routers (r6400 & R6700).

I have 2 ax3000 one is being used as an access point. Both are situated on upper and lower floors but almost in the same position within the home.

I have the same id on both radios (2.4 & 5.0) but on different channels.

I am dissatisfied with the wireless performance, as it seems inconsistent. I did not experience this the the netgear products.   

I would appreciate any suggestions for settings to cure this.
