RED LIGHT OF DEATH POWERLINE UNKNOWN UNRECONIZED NON SYNC NO WAY TO RESET
The red LED is indicating there is a connection between your powerline units. If the connection between the two powerline adapters fall below a link speed of 50 Mbps, then it is red, green if it is above.
Try other outlets as the ones you are currently using are getting too much interference from something.
