Model: Archer A10  
Hardware Version: V6
Firmware Version: 6.6

I was told on chat that my Brother printer HL-2277DW can not connect wirelessly to my Mac Book because the router does not support printers.  Is that true?  AC1900

My Model is Archer A9  not listed on dropdown menu.

The A9 does have a WPS button, if you look behind it, it will be to the right side labeled WPS/Wi-Fi. To activate the WPS you would do a quick press on the button, the front of the router will light up the icon with the two arrows going in a circle indicate WPS has been activated. You would then go to your printer and activate the WPS on it.

 

Here is a support article that shows how from your printer manufacturer's site. Ignore what it says what to do to the router, holding the WPS/Wi-Fi button will turn off your Wi-Fi on the Archer A9:
