I cannot find the WPA2 (AES) OR WPA3 on the settings of my Archer C7. I have gone to the security tab and here is what I see:
I cannot find the WPA2 (AES) OR WPA3 on the settings of my Archer C7. I have gone to the security tab and here is what I see:
The problem is the SECURITY setting on the WIRELESS page.
MAKE SURE it is set to WPA2 PERSONAL or WPA2/TKIP.
Many routers have a selection of WPA/WPA2 Mixed and then allow a version choice for WPA2.
For instance, my Archer A20 has this choice, WPA/WPA2-Personal, but under it I can sellect which I want under Version and Encryption.
Problem with Apple's iOS 14 is if you leave that 2 options under AUTO, it sees the WPA and then complains. Unless you select the proper settings to use the device tries to connect at the ''least" restrictive first, and that results in the message.
