@Dionei The set up looks about right. I believe the password saves in the Kasa app when setting up the device. I would recommend deleting the password and re-entering it when going through the setup....

@Cheezehead You will need to log in with a web browser in order to get to the system logs and go to the system menu, where the logs are shown there. If the login events are shown it might be there....
