I would suspect that the extra band is reserved by Smat Connect for AC and AX devices so they would have a priority network. Be interesting if someone could verify. Also looking at the specification...

Many times the issue is caused when changing a router using the same SSID and password. If that is the case, on each device, delete (forget) the network and then add it back.
