Not sure if related but I replaced my ASUS 1900ac with an Archer AX21. My son just did his MESH using one so he recommended I upgrade to the AX21. I figured Plug and play so I hooked it up an set it up with Tether. I created a main network and the 2.4 and 5G are the same name and password and only shows one network (good idea?) and created a "guest" network named service for all my Kasa switches, pool and TVs. I have half my TVs connected via LAN and a switch. So... first problem I keep running into is having "connection without internet". I see this intermittently without regard to which network we connecting with our Samsung S9 and S20 phones. It just seemed to be random whenever I arrive home one network may connect and have no internet meanwhile all the other devices have internet on that same network. So I switch to the "guest" network and I may have internet, then I switch back to the main netwrok and all of a sudden I have internet access. I believed that my LAN connections should be free of any problems. My smart TV would not hook up to the internet although connected up to the router. I noticed the IP address was 192.168.10.xxx instead of a 192.168.0.xxx. SO I unplugged and replugged, reset, etc and out of the blue the TV should the proper IP 192.168.0.xxx. Not sure why I had so much trouble getting my LAN connected as well. Hooking up new Kasa switches was presenting delays as I tried to connect them. So I read that the ISP may be still "linked in memory" to the old router and I followed your advice to unhook the modem from the internet access, hook only to router and plug in 3 to 5 minutes before connecting back the internet access cable. It fixed nothing. I am obviously over my head in this. Please help.
