Is there any way to monitor the daily bandwidth traffic totals on this router. I've been going through all the settings and I'm not seeing anything other than the Bytes used on the status page which is useless.

Do you see traffic statistics under system tools? That will show you the total and current bandwidth traffic of devices connected to the router, but on daily scale. Maybe you can set bandwidth control according to bandwidth given by your ISP, make sure the total would not surpass the rule.

To enable statistics you must disable NAT Boost (which is highly recommended to let enabled)
