I have the tp extender and it is not lighting up at all?
You could change a different power socket for RE and also try a factory reset tp-link range extender and see if there is any power coming through RE
RESET: with RE powered on, use a pin to push the reset hole until all the LEDs flash once.
If still no power on the RE, it could be faulty on the hardware, you could contact retailer or local support to check warranty.
