Can I still treat this as normal router and get in as admin to install vpn on the router?
The Deco unit does not have the ability to install a VPN, but it does have VPN-Passthrough. If there is a remote VPN server and a computer connected to the Deco network, the computer's VPN connection will not be blocked by the Deco.
