Model: Archer A6
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.7 Build 20201010 rel.49458(5553)

Hello - currently have three A6's setup as access points via ethernet cables to a TP-link switch. I've just setup the third and configured as an access point...and was then prompted for firmware update.

SSID's and passwords are the same for all devices.

Question - do I need to manually update each access point periodically or is this automatically done?

Thanks.

@GhengisTom

The router can update itself, but you need to initiate it. Use the Tether app to log into each AP unit, and then tell it to begin the update.
