Model: Archer C2300
Hardware Version: V2
Firmware Version: 1.1.1 Build 20200918 rel.67850

Hello, because of an IP camera that is regularly hacked I would like to block some IP addresses. How to do on this router with the hardware version V2 (there is doc for V1 but it does not apply to V2) Thanks

@PASGILI

There is not a way to actively filter specific IP addresses. However, make sure your Intrusion Prevention Detection feature is enabled (Advanced > Security > Antivirus). With respect to the camera. It might be worth changing the ports the camera uses, and forwarding those new ports in the router, and making sure the password is complex to log into it.

Thank you for this information. Yes yes the intrusion prevention detection function is well activated. I will follow your advice and change the ports to access my camera from outside. Thank you
