When setting the time manually, it keeps resetting to 2017 whenever I restart the router.
I'm using it as an AP so nothing is connected to the WAN port so I cannot set the time via internet.
The router will try to sync via NTP utilizing the WAN port. If that is not available (no WAN), the router will revert to the default time.
@Tony yes but why does it revert back to the default time if I've set the time manually instead of NTP?
When I followed up, I was informed the time setting was saved in the cache which disappears after rebooting the unit.
@Tony thanks, but that's stupid to be honest, who saves the time in volatile memory?
Are they going to release an update to fix this and perhaps enable Access Point Mode so that the C8 can get the time via NTP utilizing the LAN port instead of the WAN port?
