Setting up new router; tried reset factory button BUT not resetting...  any suggestions?

Be sure you are using the power adapter that came with the router. Also be sure you are using good quality Ethernet cable. Press and hold the button for 10-15 seconds. If you are able to sign on to the router, there may be an option to do the factory reset. Also what kind of lights are you getting when you try resetting?
