I have parental controls set in my ac2600. He plays a Nintendo switch, I have the bedtime set to turn internet off at 9:30. It works for the Xbox but his switch stays on? Why is this??

Does the Nintendo switch require an internet connection all the time? For example, if you are using the Nintendo switch and turned the router off, does the Nintendo switch still work?
