I am able to "connect" but Tunnelblick provided warnings and my IP did not change.

First message:

- 'comp-lzo' was deprecated in OpenVPN 2.4 and has been or may be removed in a later version.  You should update the configuration so it can be used with modern versions of OpenVPN.  Tunnelblick will use OpenVPN 2.4.8 - OpenSSL v1.1.1e to connect this configuration

The second message:

- DNS server address 8.8.8.8 is a public DNS server known to Tunnelblick but is not being routed through the VPN.

- DNS server () is not a public IP address and is not being routed through the VPN.

Please let me know if the second message is something I can address.  The first sounded like the VPN config generatd by the TP-link router was out of date.  Please correct me if I am wrong.  I appreciate the help getting this VPN to work properly!

@Anth

Sorry for the delay, we missed your thread.  Tunnelblick is a client software and thus outside our realm of support.  If another user is familar with the software they maybe able to help or as it is an opensource client software perhaps someone from their community can assist.

For our side we would start with making sure the VPN is configured properly.  Start by going to the Router's UI and then clicking on Advanced then VPN Server.  We need to know how the OpenVPN is setup and then the information that is showing under VPN connections.

You can share that here or with us at ussupportteam@tp-link.com if you do not want that publically seen.

Best Regards
