Model: Deco M5
Hardware Version: V1
Firmware Version:

I ordered my M5 from Amazon and got a "reconditoned" unit.  It came with the wrong power supply.  I've already reached out to support and they are shipping me a new one, but it will be a week till it gets here.  I need it ASAP.  Can someone give me the part number and possibly where I could order one quickly.  I've tried other USB C power supplies that I have and they did not work.  Thaks.

@JakeMyers

As long as the output equals 12v 1.2 amps then it should work.

The part number is the same for both V1 and V2: T120120-2B4

You just need to make sure the end connector is USB-C since you have V1.

@awsheeler

Contact your local TP-Link support team to request a replacement part like the original poster did on this thread.

@Tony

I am in a similar situation where I need a replacement power source for my Deco M5 Ver 1. I have a USB C cable with output 12v/1.2a and it does not power the Deco sufficitiently enough to turn it on. Also, the RMA support team does not have this item in stock and cannot replace it for me.

Can you provide a 3rd party option that I can use? I want to be able to use my Deco m5 without rendering it useless.

Thanks

@Alexvalen94

If your warranty is valid I would recommend following up with them for other replacement possibilities.

An alternative would be a power supply that has a USB-C connector with the specs: 100-240V~50/60Hz Input, Output: 5V 1.2A.
