Slow network performance on AX50/AX3000

Hello, I just purchased a AX50/AX3000 router and am having a terrible time gettingt the LAN speeds to be good. My other router was a Netgear and I was able to confirm that my WAN/Internet speeds are 500/250 from my ISP. I am getting close to that on wireless when I am right near the router. However, with the AX50 I am only getting 60mbps down and 40mbps up. I've tried everything including mimicking my settings from the Netgear router. Could this be an issue with my devices (iPhone and Macbook Pro) not supporting AX?

Standard is the same as disabled. What firmware are you on? If you are not on the most recent firmware and If the only customer setting changed on the router is your Wireless network names then I would also suggest updating the firmware and resetting the router to defaults. Then reconfigure the wireless. Also who is your ISP?

firmware is updated to the last, i did several factory reset as well, provider is Reutov.ru (Moscow, Russia). If i use the old router i get 200+ with no issues, both cable and wireless, its limit is 300Mbps, while the connection is 1Gb ( that's why i want to replace the router with the Archer).
what else i can do? Thanks!

Honestly there isn't much we can do for customers in Russia beyond what is suggested. This community is the US centeric community. Russia is supported by the Global communiy at community.tp-link.com/en. My suggestion would be to contact your local support team, contact information is located here: They may be able to do further testing or offer a replacement based on their local RMA policy.

Hello, guys.
Sharing my experience with you.
I also got here while searching for explanations to why the hell my internet speed was limited at 60/70 Mbps down.
I never used the theter app but I did a factory reset as suggest in this thread.
After a normal setting customization and without touching the QoS settings, tested my speeds and still at 60/70M.
Decided to do another reset and perform speedtests immediately and again after each customization.
So, after the first reset I did get the full speed from my ISP, which is not much, just 200M, but I have them.
After doing each customization and performing speedtest, I managed to find that I get the 60/70M limitation when I change the LAN subnet and router IP address to match my long-time used addressing.
If leaving it with default addressing, no problems at all.
My LAN speeds are also ok: I get a very acceptable 600/700M while transferring data between my wokstation (using a TX3000E WiFi card) and my NAS.
Regards.

@Sevi I would just like to say thank you for all your replies. I finally got fiber-optic and gigabyte Internet in my town. Bought this router as an upgrade to handle the Internet and it would not work. Unhooking from the router and plugging straight in to my Internet provider port was getting the speeds I needed. Tried calling customer service could not understand them and they were unhelpful. After a week of them not returning my calls and wanting to do everything by email I finally started researching myself. Deleting the tether app did fix this. Thank you for all your help.
would not recommend buying anything from these people their customer service is horrible.

@antnas People keep saying that it's because of the Tether app, it's the TP-Link's app that allows you to configure the router. IT IS NOT because of that app!
Check if you enabled QoS. If you gave priority to any Device or Application. If you did, disable it.

@PETzz unfortunately i didn't activate, in this router version you cannot activate/deactivate, you can only use it or not use, but there is no option to deactivate.... i did installation just connecting my mac to the ethernet via cable, no app interface, just straight into the router address and used the interface coming up there....
