TP-Link USB Printer Controlled Freezes

First, I have to say that this is by far the worst controller software I have ever used.
I am using a Brother HL2170W on an AC1200.
Every 8-10 prints the controller gives me a Server not found message and when I close the controller it freezes my whole computer and I have to reboot. Everything I had open for work is gone.
Very angry at this moment.
