Maybe it's caused by the subnet settings. You can try to set the subnet to 255.255.255.0 and check if it works.

What's the model No. of your device? If you can connect to it's wireless network,you can set the router by wireless. Log in the management interface and configure it.

I think you can click support on the bottom and tell TP-LINK about this. If they know the problem,they should fix it for you.

How you did it on your last modem? Maybe you can contact your ISP and tell them to disconnect at 5:00AM everyday.
