What is your level of the signal on the modem connected to the TP-Link (percentage)? You can see in STATUS tab.

r Home Hub 3.0 with no problems at all. In my opinion Home Hub 3.0 from BT doesn't support WDS mode and will be problem with connection in repeater mode on tp-link.
