@Tony I can confirm I am using those listed versions for the firmware. The app version is the latest available on Android 1.9.8.

@sfm42 Is the routine able to turn it on via a sensor? Doing it like that only lets me change it's network priority but not actually turn it on/off.

@sfm42 Yes it shows as a network device. However if I go to add it as a trigger or an action it is not listed.

@Tony I only use Alexa devices and have had 0 issues. The only issue remaining for me is that the light strips are not detected in the tp-link deco app. This means I can't link it yet with my home...
