Where are clips stored for 3 days? Can you change that location to external flash drive?

No, you are not able to redirect the storage of the recorded clips. The clips are saved on our cloud server. What you can do is download the clip to your phone and later save it to something else, by selecting the more option when looking at the activities menu.
