Did you test the speed with C1200? What's the difference between it and old router? If you did not set any QoS or bandwidth control, it should limit the speed. Do you watch Netflix or Youtube?

Firmware latest? UPnP is enabled by default on the router. Make sure UPnP is also enabled on your NAS.
