Did you get static IP(IP address, subnet, gateway, DNS etc.) and VLAN ID from your ISP? If you did, you can try. Or double check configuration parameters with your ISP as it is not quite clear.

You should use 20/40MHz instead of 20MHz... What kinds of wireless card in your laptop? Go to Properties---Advanced and uncheck “use default value” to try.

When connection drops, can you login its web interface? Is there any WAN IP address? Download the latest firmware, reset and reconfigure it. :)...
