very low signal 7 dbs, but you are connected, and you can see it in Traffic Statics, the only thing left is, you are not setting back your lan adpater on your lap top to obtain ip address...

upgrade to latest firmware TL-WA801ND_V1_120309 http://www.tp-link.com/mx/support/download/?model=TL-WA801ND&version=V1#tbl_j just make sure you are Ver1 as you posted

this tuto is a generic one for upgrading firmware http://www.tp-link.com/en/article/?faqid=296 its not online you download the file and save it in your lap top
