I think maybe there's something wrong with your data card.. Because the same data card from your friend works fine. You can try to use it directly on your computer and check if it works.

The system log is used for analyze the Internet connection problem.It will collect PPP logs.It would be better to collect other logs but I think it's not essential.

8968v2 and 8968v3 works in different platforms.So the some functions are different.8968v3 support remote telnet but 8968v2 doesn't.
