Hello,

 

i have 2 Tapo C310. One is V1 with Firmware 1.0.14 and the second one is V2 an has Firmware 1.1.1, no Update available.

 

The Cam with V1 shows preview-thumbnails in recordings in the app, the cam with v2 does not, it shows only "motion detection" but no thumbnails.

i can only scroll through the time-slider to view the recordings.

 

does anyone have the same problem and/or a solution?

I have sent another firmware via private message and please check whether this firmware helped or not,

Hi I have the same issue. One camera has the Version 1 hardware version and firmware version 1.0.14.  This has thumbnail in playback as well as more options in the motion detention section of the app.  The other c310has a hardware version 1.0  and firmware version of 1.0.13.  I use the update firmware option on the app but it tells me I have the latest version.  Can you advise how I may update the second camera to 1.0.14 as it has many more useable features If I have to manually undertake the process could you indicate how I do it. ?

Sorry I'm quite new to these types of cameras.

@Solla-topee Hello, meanwhile i got Firmware 1.1.7 an the thumbnails are visible as on the other c310 Cameras. Regards, Philipp

@Rino55 Hello, for my V2 camera a Firmware Update was available via the Tapo app and after i installed it, the thumbnails worked. i don't know how tplink is rolling out their updates to the devices ... now firmware is 1.1.7. regards, philipp

@Rino55 Tapo C310  V1  1.0.13 firmware does not support thumbnails and there will be a new firmware released on Tapo C310, it is recommend to wait for a few weeks, if still no update, please let me know. Thank you for your understanding.
