Thank you for your reply to the topic about the C200 watermark on the last FIRMWARE update.
Please see this topic to and REMOVE the damn waterwark from ALL FIRMWARES.

I can confirm that on the C200 the "TAPO" logo is visible on the Live view , AND on the video saved.

I did NOT agree to such thing, it was not mentioned in anywhere.

If you me to advertise the brand/model , I can certainly invoice you for this , otherwise correct the application so i don't see it !

Who on earth wants a tacky watermark on their videos, ALL watermarks should be optional, including time/date stamps, e.g. editable in on-screen display settings etc. so the videos can be used for what the customer wants to use their videos for...

today I received 10 new C310 and I was shocked after updating the devices because of the watermark.

It would be great when the watermark is freely adjustable by text. (e.g. Garage... Backyard... Front door or nothing). Nobody needs the "Tapo" watermark.

Please remind your manager we bought a camera without watermark and we will still want own a camera without or with an adjustable watermark.

What a SURPRISE after updating on my C200, on a product that I bought without it. I remind you that we PAY your products !!! This is not a free video game... REMOVE IT

The post marked as "solution" is not a solution.

The problem still exists on even more devices than before. We got it on devices that weren't affected by this bllsht before.

Contacted local authorities regarding to this issue (since in my country I can only RMA these, no simple way to return), it is possible to sue both seller and manufacturer because of this. Not sure if it worth the time tho.

I am interested in a custom firmware or downgrade options if possible.

I already mentioned in a post that it is not an solution.
TP-Link marked it as a solution but they have only passed it to the discussion table that was their solution.

I'm already on this since January this year that my C310 showed this damn watermark.
Now since the C200 is showing a watermark since the update begin April, there is a lot more activity on the threads.

We all hope that TP-Link will remove this stupid watermark within a short time, but we don't know.
They only tell us we bring it to the discussion table so some people will think something about this.

As long as they don't do something we need to keep complaining about this practices.

I just updated my C310 to the last firmware:
1.0.14 Build 210118 Rel.58915n

Release Notes:
1. add new feature of intelligent detections including Line-Crossing Detection, Area Intrusion Detection, and Camera Tampering.
2. Optimized the motion detection effect.
3. Improved performance and stability.

And guess what: The stupid watermark is still there :-(.

And I also updated my C100 to the last firmware:
1.0.19 Build 210319 Rel.42963n

Release Notes:
Modifications and Bug Fixes:
Improved system security.

The C100 still doesn't have the watermark.
So PLEASE remove it from the C310 and C200! RIGHT NOW!
