Model: Archer A6
Hardware Version: V3
Firmware Version:

Just got the Archer a6 in replacement of Tplink c50 and i am shocked to see that there is no Bandwidth control in a6 while c50 does have this feature. it was supposed to be upgrade over my old router but not having this feature making me regret my decission.

Please add this feature its a must needed feature for indian users as we have less bandwidth and less stable connection and not having control over that bandwidth just makes it worst.

please add BANDWIDTH MANAGEMENT IN ARCHER A6

Somewhere in the forum I've seen a recommendation to use QoS for that purpose, but such a feature request does make a big sense.

Agreed ... I also have this one ... Just got it two days ago. The problem is bandwidth control ... I couldn't understand why it wasn't working the same way as my old TP link n300 then realized after reading your post that its not bandwidth control I turned on but rather QoS which is not the same. QoS is very complicated (read cake qos) and I really think bandwidth control is important and less complicated than QoS ... Also the firmware takes ages to boot and the web page is quite buggy and slow to respond. Overall I feel this is a great router with half baked firmware.

@CoreAI  @Pankaj.J

Hello, Just as Ivaylo said, the Archer A6 only support QoS with the current firmware, while we have noted this bandwidth control request from other customers, and we have feedback to the related department, they are evaluating and will see if we can add this feature back.

Please pay attention to the official website for any future firmware updates, thanks a lot.
