Tapo camera view/control via PC ( windows 10) HELP

Im realy struggling to find the windows software to control and view a recently puchased the tapo camera, i purchased this camera to replace an older Vstar camera that kept re-setting itself ( amongst other things) and that used software called Eye4 which had Windows pc software, as well as software for android/apple devices, iove read on here that you need to pay €350 for compatable software???
if this is the case then i will have no toher optoin than to return the device

@Richard_T123 I bought a Google hub and Google TV dongle. Cameras pick up on the hub very easily then cast to my TV. I tried all the suggestions you will read and none worked. Only Google equipment works with all tp-link equipment.. cameras. Plugs. Bulbs. Doorbells etc..
I CAN PICK UP MY GOOGLE TV CONTROLLER AND SAY "KITCHEN CAMERA" WITHIN A FEW SECONDS I HAVE THE CAMERA IMAGE ON MY TV, nothing can be easier than that. . .can it ?

You can view Tapo camera on windows 10, using Security Eye, once installed.
In the tapo app create an account for the camera, username and password.
Then run Security Eye on Pc.
Select add camera, enter details Ip address etc username and password for camera,
Once complete you can watch live feed record onto pc hard drive.
