Hi, for your issue, we would like to check the below information first.

May I know if you have NBN box in your home?

You said your connection is fiber connection, right?

If so, you need a NBN box in your home which can transfer the fiber signal to Ethernet signal, then the modem router Archer VR300 can connect and get signal from that.

The modem router can't transfer the signal by itself.

If you have NBN box or modem in your home, please follow the instruction to set up the modem router as wireless router. https://www.tp-link.com/support/faq/1201/

It can only accept DSL connection or Ethernet signal from NBN box or modem.
