Is it possible to connect TL-WA855RE/RE450/RE201 to a Power Line AV200 by Ethernet cable?
Hi, for your issue, please take the below anwser.
For better performance, it is not suggested that the extender is connected to the powerline device via wireless or cable connection.
It is highly suggested that connect the extender and your main router via wireless or cable conenction.
If you want to connect the extender to the powerline device by cable, you need to change the extender to be Access Point mode then set it up to use.
Though TL-WA855RE/RE450(we don't have the product RE201) both support Access Point mode, your AV200 powerline device is very old.
If you connect the extender to it, the performance of the extender will be poor.
