I've had the exact same problem with 2 NC450 cameras, one of them now doesn't make that popping sound upon starting and now it stays on for a while, but it doesn't show any live camera feed on the webpage or the app.

Tried restoring it to default settings, downgrading it to the middle firmware, upgrading to latest, nothing works.

I found a few more bugs. 
I'm using a 24h recording option and app and e-mail notification to motion detection. After motion detec camera stops recording for about one minute. There is no possibility to see what was the source of alert because e-mail notification doesn't work too ( notification still work). 
These are fundamental things!!! Taking into account problem with switch between home/remote mode in motion detection NC450 camera is now completely useless!!! 
Is there any possibility to go back to 1.3.4 firmware? On this soft every thing works fine. 
Is the 1.4 firmware was even tested? How you can public such unfinished software?!

@constant when I upgrade my NC450 firmware to 1.5.2 and turn OFF the 24-hour recording option my camera work fine i.e. it is correctly detects movement, correctly makes a recording after motion detection, correctly sends e-mail alert and does not make false alarms.

But when I turn ON the 24-houer recording option my camera is going crazy, i.e. constantly makes false alarms on my phone, sometimes stops recording after motion detection, and sometimes it is doesn't send email notifications.

On this moment I recommend to you disabling the 24 houer recording option and i have hope tha this bug will be fix in the futute on new firmware.

PS. To be sure that the camera will work properly, I suggest you to restore the factory settings on your camera after turning off the 24 houre recordnig option.
