So no reply from TPLink, no surprise about that, this POS router was DOA. Perhaps we need to discuss refunds for a router that has NEVER worked properly and now NEVER WILL?

@peterholm The only thing that worked for me was letting 'Quick Setup' find the WAN connection. I got the impression the error checks on doing it manually must be wrong.
