The device name is just EAP220 followed by its MAC address. It is always different for each single device. If both use firmware v2.x, they are both hardware version 2. As for the ESSID: same ESSIDs...

How do you measure this? Using built-in speed test or by looking at the graphs on the Status page? If rate goes down, for how long and is this during transmission of data or in idle phases?
