As for T1600G: yes, I use MiniGBICs without personalization with this switch. Probably they also work with the T2/T3 series, but I tested only with T1600G.

The map directory just contains the images uploaded as maps. Coordinates of APs on the maps etc. are probably saved in the database or elsewhere. The latter is only a guess, since unfortunately there...
