How to set up Port Forwarding on the Deco app

Port Forwarding can be used for setting up public services in your local network, such as HTTP, FTP, DNS, POP3/SMTP and Telnet. Different service uses different service port. Port 80 is used in HTTP service, port 21 in FTP service, port 25 in SMTP service and port 110 in POP3 service.
Please verify the service port number before the configuration.
How to setup:
1. Launch the Deco app, tap the Settings icon at the bottom right corner;
2. Tap Advanced -> Port Forwarding -> Create

3. Choose a Service Type, type in the Service Name, tap Internal IP to select a device you want to open ports for, and then type in its External Port and Internal Port (Service Port). Tap Done.
Note: If you leave the Internal Port blank, then the internal ports will be the same as the external ones.
For example, if you set up the External Port as 5000-5001, leave the Internal Port blank. Then the internal port 5000-5001 will be opened automatically after you complete the setup.

Hi, is your ISP modem a bridge modem only, or a modem-router combo?
--if it is the second one, you might also need to open the port on the ISP modem router for Deco;

@TP-Link it was a modem-router combo. I have opened the same port but for the deco is connected to the router and it worked, thanks for the response.

@TP-Link Deco Hi. I'm trying to setup Wake-On-LAN with my PC. I am attempting to port forward port 9 to the broadcast IP address on my router. However, it will not let me enter in a custom IP address, it will only let me choose one from a list. Any ideas?
Thanks!

Hi, currently, Deco APP does not support manually customizing the IP and MAC address and it has to be chosen from the devices list.
And Did you want to set up Wake-On-LAN over the internet, or in the local network? (the remote waking client is on the WAN or LAN?)
If it is over the local network, there is no need to open ports as long as this feature is supported by the network adapter.
If it is over the internet, Deco does not support this feature yet.

@TP-Link Hi, yes I was wanting to setup Wake-On-LAN over the internet. On another note, when I was testing Wake-On-LAN over the internet it would stop working after around 15 mins. I believe it's something to do with the devices entry in the ARP table expiring after 15 mins. If there was any way to fix this it would be greatly appreciated

@TP-Link Deco How can I use a different internal IP? I use a virtual machine that has a different ip (they just list 192.168.68.101) and my VM has 192.168.68.107.
But in the options I can't change it. Please help
