Archer T4U comparability

Archer T4U comparability

I recently changed my address temporarily, previously I had an ADSL connection i conjuction with my Archer D9 and T4U adapter and all functioned perfectly, now I am connected to a friends NBN (BELONG) and using their router, can I use the T4U in conjunction with this router?
I also have another problem in that the PC will not recognise the T4U. I would like to solve this problem as the Belong router does not appear to have much range. Sorry for the "comparability" in the subject line, spell check took over!
