Archer D5 - Losing WAN/Internet connetivity a couple of times daily -
Model :
Hardware Version :
Firmware Version :
ISP :
Firmware Version:0.9.1 0.8 v002e.0 Build 150526 Rel.63088n
Hardware Version:Archer D5 v1 00000000
I'm regularly losing internet connection (usually many times daily)
Checking under Diagnostic:
These test PASSES:
Test Internet Browsing
Test xDSL Synchronization Pass
ATM OAM Segment Ping Pass
ATM OAM end to end Ping Pass
Test DHCP Server's connection Pass
Test assigned IP address Pass
BUT THESE TESTS FAILS:
Ping default gateway,
Ping primary Domain Name Server,
Test DNS Root,
Network Connection Status Inspect(NCSI)
On the STATUS page under the WAN pane it says it's connected:
ipoe_8_35_1_d Dynamic IP 8/35 87.XXX.XX.X /24 87.XXX.XX.X 213.50.29.170 213.50.29.180 Connected
The quick solution to solve this is to go to the menu under NETWORK -> DSL WAN Interface
Then to click on the DISCONNECT button and then clink on the CONNECT button again.
This solves the problem within seconds.
Talking with the ISP they say that they don't have any problems and they don't see any issues on the station or my connection.
Do you have any ideas what this can be?
