I am hoping someone can help me.I have a holiday home in France and am right on the border of signal for an Orange hotspot I have access too .This hotspot is open (no wep/wpa) but redirects you to a login page , where they validate you are a customer.Given the MR3220 can pick up weaker signals better than my laptop, I was hoping to extend the Orange hotspot. So far I have clicked the survey button and found the network I need , but after rebooting the router I can't get any net access and the usual login page doesn't load/or by typing in the usual web address. Can anyone help me, or simply not possible?

I'm afraid that MR3220 doesn't support such kinds of authentication in WDS mode.

Thanks Tony,

What kind of authentication is it? Can I configure the MR3220 without WDS?

Otherwise sounds like I need a different router, any recommendations? (I think something known for picking up weak signals will be good), the MR3220 reports it as 6-14db where it is currently sat.

Portal Authentication.
WDS can extend Wi-Fi but it may not be able to pass through it.
There are many devices which can extend Wi-Fi signal but the hotspot Wi-Fi environment is more complicated than home Wi-Fi and I'm not sure if they would work as you expected.
