I have recently upgraded my Broadband to BT Infinity ie from 3 up to 15 Mbs. I had to exchange my old router BTHub 4 for a new one BTHub5. I find that on connecting my laptop wirelessly via the Powerliner Extender kit that I can connect to the Internet via 2 possibilities ie BTHub 4 and BTHub5( as is shown in the pop-up window in the bottom left hand tool-bar). The Powerline Extender TL-WPA4220 seems to work only with BTHub4, which is in theory not available, to give me a download speed of 15 Mbs whereas going via BTHub5 only gives me 2 Mbs. I would prefer to only operate via BTHub5 together with the download speed of 15 Mbs. Please advise. (I have a Dell laptop with Windows 7 installed.)

TL-WPA4010KIT?
To connect the laptop directly to hub5, what's the speed? How did you test the speed? If the direct speed is slow, you should contact your ISP instead.
Install the utility for PA4010 and check the rate showing there.

The latest....... the BTHub 4 router connection has now disappeared from my lap-top computer screen leaving me with only the BTHub 5 router connection which shows a very weak reception signal - I live in an old house with very thick walls. I originally employed the TL - Link Powerline system to boost the signal from the BT Hub 4 router which was located in the kitchen, which it did very successfully. However, I do not seem able to get it to work with the new BTHub 5 router, also located in the kitchen, in spite of resetting, recloning and re-'pairing' the WPA4220 extender. The present download line speed is 2 Mbs !!! (Moving the lap-top next to the BT Hub 5 router increases the download speed to 20 Mbs.) So there is obviously something wrong with the TL - Link Powerline system. Can anyone help ?
