Hi all,

I have been suffering from loss of internet quiet frequently. I have had a replacement from Currys and still facing the same issue. I spoke to someone on live chat and they did say your extender need to be in the same room as your wireless devices which I was quiet shocked about thinking I paid around £60 for the powerline adapters. Plus, the extender is above the sitting room where the devices are.

Anywho, I have changed the channel on the extender and width including the channel on the superhub 2 and still no luck. Is there anything I can do, to the superhub 2? Or anything cheap I can buy to extend the wifi in other parts of the house?

Please let me know, its getting abit frustrating now.

thank you

the extender is above the sitting room where the devices are.
Did you check signal strength on those devices? When they are in the same room as the extender, how about stability of internet connection?
Why not plug the extender in the room where you have to connect Wi-Fi?

Yes, signal strength shows full bars when extender is upstairs, when the extender is bought in the same room the internet is stable and working fine. The reason why I cannot plug the extender in the room where I have to connect to Wi-Fi is due to needing the ethernet connection for the television. I was looking at the TL-WA850RE will this work if I plug it to the room that requires wifi?

Thanks

Why not buy a third powerline adapter to work with the kit and place it in the TV room?
A range extender will work better in the same stairs to boost Wi-Fi signal.
My suggestion is that buy a PA4010 and make it work with your WPA4220KIt.
