Firmware Version : 3.14.1 Build 140912 Rel.58489n

ISP :

My wireless radio seems to be broken, cant select if I want to use 5Ghz 2.4 Ghz or both. they all stay greyed out.

The router is behind a vigor 2130 modem from Vodafone Netherlands.

I tried resetting the router changing the ethernet cables from LAN to WAN and vice versa swithcing the wifi button on the back, but nothing seems to help at all.

Is my device just defective?

Have you made reset to factory settings?

Yes I've done everything with resets factory via webgui as well as button on back.

I was afraid of that, so I'm going back to the store with it tomorrow. The store said they had already got back 5 of the 7 units sold so I'm guessing it's a faulty batch.

WiFi seems got turn on for about 10 seconds on start of router but then nothing.

Maybe the c7 is better for the couple extra bucks.

Everything is possible. I haven't this router at home and I can't check it.
