TD-W8980 (there doesn't seem to be a category for this!) Locking up

I have a D600 dual band (TD-W8980). (there doesn't seem to be a category for this - maybe there is an alternative model number in different countries)
Seems to have a couple of issues.
Runs fine for a while (5 mins to maybe an hour) - then 'locks up' - can't even get onto the admin webpage via IP with one of the PCs directly hard connected via ethernet cable.
Can't get a date/time change to stick (so it's living in 1970).
Also one diagnostic fails - I'm not at the machine right now so I can't recall exactly what it is called [I appreciate this is not useful!]. 2nd one from the bottom. 'Local DNS Server?'
