Hi,

I am trying to use this router as a wireless access point (WAP) in my private intranet. It is not to be connected to any Intranet, just act as a wireless gateway for my mobile users.

I have configured the correct static IP address, the correct broadcast, the correct gateway through which all packets will route to get to the internet.

When I first configured it, I was able to login via the web user interface. However, after it has settled down as a WAP, I can no longer access the web management page of the router.

Anyone out there has had this peculiar problem?

I have a similar problem. I want to use a TL-WA801ND in my office intranet. I want to give my mobile users access to both the intranet (for printing and access to the e-mail) and also access to the internet. We have a server running linux which assign the I.P.s.

I use:
192.168.1.3 for the AP
255.255.255.0 for the subnet mask

Then the AP restart, AND when I connect I receive:

I.P.: 169.254.65.12
Subnet mask: 255.255.0.0

Thanks in advance for any help
