I hope you will find a way to create firmware for TP Link M7650 with bandlocking feature. The price is too expensive just the same with TP Link Archer MR600 with bandlocking feature. In our area only Band 1 is the band frequency that is stable and fast. If there is only away to bandlock TP Link M7650 it will solve my problem with the internet connection.
